This article explains us that if you're obese at 18 'it increases the risk of sudden
cardiac death later in life, even if you lose the weight.
· A wealth of research has
linked being obese to heart disease and problems.
· New study warns women
who are obese in early adulthood are at increased risk of sudden cardiac death
later in life even if they lose the weight.
It is widely known and accepted that people who are
obese are at greater risk of poor heart health.
But, a new study has reinforced the importance of
maintaining a healthy weight throughout life.
Scientifics said: 'Excess weight or substantial weight
gain may have an early or cumulative impact on the risk of sudden cardiac death
that is not completely erased by weight loss later in life.'
Researchers were then able to examine the relation
between body mass index (BMI) and weight gain and the risk of suffering sudden
cardiac death, death from coronary heart disease and non-fatal heart attacks.
Doing lots of practice experiments they have conclude that the hart attacks are
linked with obesity not only being, also being thin if you have been obese when
you were 18.
Sudden cardiac death is a sudden, unexpected death
usually triggered by a lethal chaotic cardiac rhythm, which results in a loss
of heart function.
Women with a higher BMI during adulthood had a greater
risk of sudden cardiac death.
I think
that after these studies the countries have to organize laws and political
strategies to avoid mainly the childhood obesity, because even if you loss
weight in your adulthood the scars into your heart health remains and you could
suffer a cardiac heart attack. So we must to take care about our healthy
alimentation always and do some sport whenever we can.
