Deforestation is an activity with economic purposes
which exploit the natural resources of whole forests. In recent years,
scientific studies have shown that deforestation is becoming a serious problem
for the natural balance of our planet, and this could lead to catastrophic
consequences for the Earth's ecosystem.
For starters, many animals lose their natural habitats
and die because, on one hand, they do not have where to live and, on the other
hand, do not have what to feed themselves due to the destruction of the ecosystem. Secondly,
the forests would not return to be regenerated because, or there are build
industrial estates, or they become desert and infertile. And with regard
to the climate of the area, this is completely altered, direct result of
clear-cutting of vegetation of the territory.
The most effective solutions would be declared
"protected areas", such as the Amazon, and use synthetic materials to
produce consumer goods for the population.
In short, deforestation is a danger to the ecosystem
of the planet, and there are several methods to stop this serious problem
caused by mankind.
